Events Colt Research Day

The Foundation makes grants to students taking higher degrees in subjects related to occupational and environmental health through selected universities and colleges, and grants to students account for up to one-quarter of the Foundation’s annual grants.

Each year Colt Research Day is held to which all current students, one or two former students, and one or two researchers who are working on Colt-funded research projects are invited to give a presentation of their work and outline their plans for the future. This gives them the chance to meet the other students and researchers working in the field of occupational health, and present their work to a friendly and supportive audience, which will include some of the Trustees and a small number of invited guests with a particular interest in the world of occupational health research.

Colt Research Day will be held on Monday 12th December 2011 at The Gordon Museum at the GKT Campus near London Bridge Station. Presentations will be heard from the Colt Foundation current PhD students, and three of the King's College MSc students. If anyone would like an invitation to attend, please contact Jackie Douglas in the Colt Foundation office.
